- Lying.
Lying.
One of the biggest sins is lying to yourself.
Every day you wake up to yourself and set goals that you don’t even come close to achieving.
Yesterday you said you will hit a hard workout, but today you have an excuse.
“Oh, I’ll skip today because I need a rest day.”
Pathetic.
Remember that every time you skip,
Every time you lie to yourself,
You are hurting not only your mind but also everyone around you.
Your brain starts to develop a habit of lying to itself.
It thinks it is doing something positive to help yourself and the ones you love, but in reality, it is covering in the shadows, always lying to itself, always skipping, always picking the easier option.
And this is a scientific fact.
Imagine you want to retire your parents but you're always lying to yourself and can't get a deep work session in because of excuses.
How are you ever going to make progress then???
Your brain starts to become bitter and full of excuses.
Imagine where you would be if you didn’t lie to yourself.
“Oh, this cake is healthy because it fits my calories.”
No, it's not.
“Oh, I am fat and I am beautiful!”
No your not.
“I went to the gym once and I am strong now!”
No your not.
“Oh, I don’t have to work today because I worked all week and I am going to be rich!”
No your not.
Don’t confuse the truth and excuses because lying may be the greatest sin you can commit to yourself.
So don’t lie to yourself.
Or suffer the pain of regret.
